Gingerthon is a nationwide agricultural empowerment initiative helping Nigerians grow ginger from home and earn income. To scale operations nationwide, I led the design and development of a fully automated digital experience that supports both tech-savvy and non-tech-savvy participants.

The Challenge

The initial process we designed was heavily manual:

Registration errors and delays

No unified data or support system

Unclear onboarding and training scheduling

High communication workload

Limited visibility into participants' status

Delayed communication and operational bottlenecks

My Role

As the Product & Digital Systems Leader, I:

Conducted UX research and mapped business processes

Designed user journeys and User interfaces

Integrated Zoho tools for automation and reporting

Developed the website and internal systems

Coordinated between business and technical teams

Participants (via automated registration and training flows)

Internal teams (CRM, support, HR, e-commerce, and reporting)

Affiliates (tracking and referrals)

Closing

Gingerthon became a fully digital, automated, and scalable empowerment platform. This project combined my product design, automation, digital business transformation, and system integration skills to design and build a sustainable business model.
